Neobet sign-up bonus: how NEO.bet's Ontario welcome offer works

NEO.bet runs a welcome offer for new Ontario players, shown on its own site and in its app. Ontario's Standard 2.05 bars sites like this one from printing it — so here is what to check before you take it.

Where NEO.bet's welcome offer actually lives

Yes, NEO.bet has a welcome offer for new players in Ontario — its own App Store and Google Play listings advertise a welcome package — and the current version, with its terms, is shown on on.neobet.ca and in the app. This page gives no amount, percentage, wagering multiple, spin or free-bet count, or code. That is a rule, not an oversight.

On NEO.bet's platform the offer and its rules live apart. Its sitemap, shared across its markets, lists a /Bonus section with a /Bonus/Welcome page, and a separate /Bonusrequirements terms page. Read them as a pair: the welcome page is the advertisement, the requirements page is the contract.

You will only see either while physically in Ontario; elsewhere, on.neobet.ca shows an "Access Restricted" page (our login help page explains). And if you came here for a code, start with our NEO.bet bonus code page: we found no evidence that NEO.bet Ontario requires a promo code for its welcome offer, and we cannot verify the codes other sites print.

A "Neobet bonus" from Germany or Malta is not your bonus

Codes and offers circulate online for NEO.bet's German site (neobet.de) and its Maltese site (neo.bet). NEO.bet's own configuration lists four licensed sites — Malta, Germany, Ontario and South Africa — and each is a separate site with its own accounts. A code or offer from another market does not apply to an Ontario account, whatever the page quoting it claims.

Standard 2.05 in plain English

The Toronto waterfront skyline at dusk

Standard 2.05 of the AGCO's Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming is the one that covers bonuses, and it fits in four lines:

  • Banned Advertising inducements, bonuses or credits publicly — anywhere the general public can see them, review sites like this one included.
  • Allowed Showing them on the operator's own site or app, once a player has chosen to go there.
  • Allowed Sending them by direct marketing to a player who consented on that site to receive it.
  • Scope The ban covers direct and indirect advertising, and real or perceived inducements.

That last line is the one people skip. On a plain reading, "perceived" means no number is needed to break the rule — calling an offer huge is an inducement too — and "indirect" closes the loophole of hinting. So this page does not call NEO.bet's offer big or small, good or bad.

The rule is enforced

The AGCO has issued monetary penalties under Standard 2.05 to several well-known brands:

Penalties under Standard 2.05 (selected)
BetMGM Canada$110,000 — the case involved sign-up inducements offered through marketing affiliates in a public forum
DraftKings$100,000
Unibet$48,000
PointsBetAlso penalized under the same standard

Note whose name is on the BetMGM penalty: the operator's, for inducements offered through its marketing affiliates. The rule reaches affiliate pages — this one included, since we may earn a commission — through the brand they promote. None of these cases involves NEO.bet: we searched the AGCO's published enforcement news and found no monetary penalty naming Reactive Betting Ltd., which runs on.neobet.ca, as of 1 Nov 2026.

How welcome offers on Ontario sites are usually built

With the numbers off the table, structure is the useful question. Regulated Ontario sites use a few familiar shapes, and since NEO.bet runs both a casino and a sportsbook you may meet more than one. These are the shapes in general, not NEO.bet's version.

Casino deposit match

Bonus money is added in proportion to your first deposit, up to a cap. It sits in a separate balance and must be wagered a set number of times before it becomes withdrawable cash — sometimes counting the bonus alone, sometimes deposit plus bonus.

Sportsbook free bets

Usually triggered by a qualifying bet, often at or above a stated minimum odds. When a free bet wins you are normally paid the winnings but not the free-bet stake, so it is worth less than the same amount of cash at the same odds — most of all on a short-priced favourite. NEO.bet's markets and bet types are on our betting page.

Spins

A set number of spins at a fixed stake on named slots. Their winnings are often credited as bonus money with a wagering requirement of their own.

The terms that decide what it is worth

Wagering requirement: how many times you must stake the bonus, or bonus plus deposit, before you can withdraw. Game weighting, or contribution: slots typically count in full, while table and live games often count for less or not at all. Expiry: a deadline to claim the offer and another to finish wagering. Maximum bet: a common cap on each stake while a bonus is active, and breaking it can void what you won. Eligible payment methods: some offers exclude deposits made by certain methods.

A worked example — hypothetical, not NEO.bet's terms

Round numbers, invented for the arithmetic — not NEO.bet's figures and not a guess at them. The method works on whatever terms you are shown.

Hypothetical example — not NEO.bet's terms
Bonus credited$50
Wagering requirement10× the bonus
Total you must stake$50 × 10 = $500
Assumed house edge4% (games returning 96% of stakes over the long run)
Expected cost of the wagering$500 × 4% = $20
Average value left$50 − $20 = $30
If the 10× applied to a $50 deposit plus the $50 bonus$1,000 to stake, $40 expected cost, $10 left on average
If your game counted 10% towards wagering$5,000 of stakes to clear the same $500
With a $5 maximum betAt least 100 bets to clear $500

Every figure in this table is hypothetical. The 4% edge is an assumption for the arithmetic, not a figure for any NEO.bet game.

Three lessons. A wagering requirement is a commitment to play, and every dollar staked carries the house edge. The base matters as much as the multiple: "10×" on the bonus and "10×" on deposit plus bonus are very different offers. And the value left is an average over many players, not a forecast: any one player can finish well above or below it, or run out of balance first. Game return matters too — Dimers reports NEO.bet's slot lobby can be sorted by RTP, though RTP versions can vary by market, so check each game's info panel (more on our slots page).

What to read before you opt in

Questions the terms should answer

  1. Is it a deposit match, free bets or spins — and is there a choice between a casino and a sportsbook offer?
  2. Do I have to opt in, and when: at sign-up or at the first deposit?
  3. What is the wagering requirement, and does it count the bonus alone or deposit plus bonus?
  4. Which games count towards it, at what percentage? For free bets, what minimum odds?
  5. What are the deadlines to claim the offer and to finish wagering?
  6. Is there a maximum bet while the bonus is active?
  7. Does the payment method I plan to use qualify?
  8. If a free bet wins, is the stake paid out or kept?
  9. What happens to the bonus, and anything won with it, if I withdraw before wagering is finished?

Answer them from NEO.bet's welcome and bonus requirements pages, or its support team — not from this site or a screenshot on someone else's.

If the terms leave one open, ask before you deposit. NEO.bet's live chat opens from the "Support" button at the top right of the site, according to Deadspin; keep a copy of the answer.

You can skip it — and some players should

Taking a welcome offer is generally optional on regulated sites, and a deposit made without one stays ordinary cash. How NEO.bet handles opting in and declining is in its own terms; if unclear, ask support first. Often better off without a bonus:

  • Skip it You may want to withdraw soon — unfinished wagering usually ties up or forfeits the bonus.
  • Skip it You mostly play games that count little or nothing towards wagering, such as many table and live games.
  • Skip it The maximum-bet cap or the deadline does not fit the way you play.
  • Skip it You are trying to keep your spending in check — a requirement asks you to stake many times the bonus.
  • Could suit You would have played that volume of eligible games anyway, within a budget set in advance, and you have read the requirements page.

Personalised offers: the consented-marketing route

Standard 2.05's other open door is direct marketing to a player who consented to it on the operator's own site. If you want NEO.bet's later promotions, the legitimate route is to give that consent on NEO.bet's site — not to hunt through public forums. Consent works in reverse, too: use the unsubscribe option in a message, look for marketing preferences in your account, or ask support to remove you. Be wary of a "NEO.bet bonus" that reaches you any other way — a text or social message you never agreed to is not the channel the rule permits — and enter your NEO.bet password only on on.neobet.ca or in the official app.

Play within limits

Ontario's legal age is 19, and you must be physically in the province to play. A wagering requirement is, by design, an invitation to play more than you deposited, so set your limits before you opt in. NEO.bet offers deposit, loss and bet limits by day, week or month, session limits, short breaks and self-exclusion from six months to five years, according to Dimers' casino review; Dimers' sportsbook review adds a reality check after 30 minutes. BetGuard.ca, iGaming Ontario's centralized self-exclusion service launched on 14 May 2026, covers every regulated Ontario igaming site with one registration. Free, confidential help is available 24/7 from ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600, the number NEO.bet prints in its own app listing.

The offer itself is on the operator's own site, where the rules allow it to be shown. Reviewers' wider verdicts on NEO.bet are on our reviews page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Neobet sign-up bonus in Ontario?

NEO.bet runs a welcome offer for new Ontario players and shows its current version, with its terms, on its own site and in its app. Ontario's Standard 2.05 bars advertising bonuses publicly, so this guide does not print the amount or terms.

Do I need a NEO.bet bonus code for the welcome offer?

We found no evidence that NEO.bet Ontario requires a promo code for its welcome offer, and we cannot verify codes printed by third-party sites. Codes circulating for NEO.bet's German or Maltese sites do not apply to an Ontario account.

Why doesn't this guide show the NEO.bet welcome bonus amount?

Standard 2.05 of the AGCO's Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming prohibits advertising inducements to the public. Offers may appear only on the operator's own site or app, or in marketing a player consented to there. BetMGM Canada was penalized $110,000 in a case involving sign-up inducements offered through marketing affiliates in a public forum.

Where are NEO.bet's bonus terms?

On its own platform. NEO.bet's sitemap lists a welcome page in its Bonus section and a separate bonus requirements terms page. Read both before you opt in, and ask its live chat if anything is unclear.

Can I play at NEO.bet without taking the welcome offer?

Taking a welcome offer is generally optional on regulated Ontario sites. How NEO.bet handles opting in or declining is set out in its own terms, so check them, or ask its support, before your first deposit.

How do I get personalised offers from NEO.bet?

Standard 2.05 allows direct marketing to players who consented on the operator's own site, so the legitimate route is to give that consent on NEO.bet's site. You can withdraw it later if the messages become unwelcome.
