One app on the App Store, one on Google Play, published by two companies in the same group. What each listing says, how to install the right one, and why the app keeps asking where you are.
Visit NEO.betNEO.bet has two official apps for Ontario: NEO.bet Canada on the App Store and NEO.bet - Sports & Casino on Google Play. Both open the same sportsbook and casino run by Reactive Betting Ltd., both work only while you are physically in the province, and both are for players 19 and over. Details below were read from both store listings on 1 Nov 2026 unless another source is named.

The release notes for iOS version 2.0.1 say the app's technical foundation was updated for current iOS and its features are unchanged. Two updates in one week show both apps are maintained, not how well they work.
The name under the app differs by store, which can make a careful person hesitate. On the App Store the seller is Greenvest Betting Limited, a Malta company that third-party sources describe as the operator of NEO.bet in Europe. On Google Play the publisher is Reactive Betting Ltd, the company registered with the AGCO to run on.neobet.ca.
They are companies in the same group, and NEO.bet's own identifiers show it: the Android package name is com.greenvest.neobet.ca.on, and Apple sign-in on the Ontario website is configured under a com.greenvest.neobet identifier. The practical point: those are the two publisher names on the official Ontario apps, and an app under any other name is not one of them.
NEO.bet's Ontario apps will not open outside the province, so here are the five screenshots NEO.bet itself publishes on its Canadian App Store listing. The claims printed on them are the operator's, not our measurements.

Two of those claims deserve a second source. The casino screen promises over 750 games; Dimers counted over 1,000 in October 2026. The sportsbook screen says 9,000 daily matches, while Deadspin quoted NEO.bet as offering "more than 9,000 events per month" — not the same claim. We did not record a version, size or minimum Android version from the Play listing; check those before you install.
Do the verification early. Deadspin and next.io report that NEO.bet asks for government photo ID — a passport, Canadian driver's licence or ID card — plus proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement, before a first withdrawal; the site's configuration shows it uses Sumsub, a third-party verification service. Ontario's rules require a regulated operator to confirm each player is physically in the province, and not just once. NEO.bet's site configuration sets its location re-check interval at 900,000 milliseconds — 15 minutes. That figure is the website's; we have not seen a separate one for the apps.
Outside Ontario the app shows the same block page as the website: "Access Restricted — This service is not available in your region for legal reasons", with a Check again button. On iOS the page can also offer Continue to Website; NEO.bet's own code hides that button on Android, citing "play store policy". Neither is a way round the block — the website shows it too outside the province, as we saw on 1 Nov 2026. If you are in Ontario and still see it, check that location access is on for the app and no VPN is running, then tap Check again.

Reviewers add two details. Dimers' sportsbook review says "account login authentication can be enabled" — an extra log-in check you switch on in the account settings, worth doing on a shared phone. Deadspin found the odds-format setting buried in the settings.
The store listings also advertise a welcome package. We do not repeat its figures: the AGCO's Standard 2.05 bars advertising inducements to the public, and this page is public. The offer and its terms are shown inside the app; our sign-up bonus guide explains how to read them.
The iOS app shows 3.2 out of 5 from 33 ratings on the Canadian App Store; the Android app shows 2.7 stars from 7 reviews on Google Play, alongside 1K+ downloads. Thirty-three and seven are very small samples. With seven reviews, one more five-star review would lift the Android average to about 3.0 and one more one-star review would drop it to about 2.5 — simple arithmetic, not a forecast.
The only reviewer comment on the app itself in our sources is Deadspin's: its September 2026 review called it "clunky at times" while still judging NEO.bet "worth using" overall. Every third-party verdict on the operator, with dates, is on our NEO.bet reviews page.
"The Android app must be sideloaded." next.io says it is not on Google Play. That is out of date: it is there now, published by Reactive Betting Ltd.
"Only Ontario and Germany have the app." Deadspin says so, but NEO.bet's own configuration lists iOS apps for Germany, Malta, Ontario and South Africa.
"3.6 stars from 70+ reviews." Dimers once reported that for the App Store. The current Canadian listing, first released in Oct 2025, shows 3.2 from 33, so the older figure most likely belongs to a different or earlier listing.
"18+." Google Play labels the app "Adults only 18+" and Apple rates it 17+. Those are the stores' own labels; the legal age for online gambling in Ontario is 19.
Install NEO.bet only from the App Store or Google Play, and only once the publisher matches: Greenvest Betting Limited on iOS, Reactive Betting Ltd on Android. Never take an APK from a third-party site — you cannot tell who built it or what else it does — and distrust any version that promises to work outside Ontario. Your NEO.bet password goes into the official app or on.neobet.ca and nowhere else; this guide has no log-in form, and no legitimate guide needs one.
You do not have to install anything. on.neobet.ca is the same Ontario operation, with the same account, location check and identity verification; the app listings add conveniences such as Face ID / Touch ID log-in and push notifications. If your iPhone cannot run iOS 15.0, the website is the route left.
NEO.bet's store description lists responsible-gaming tools, and its listing prints the ConnexOntario helpline. Dimers gives the detail: deposit, loss and bet limits by day, week or month, session limits, short breaks and self-exclusion from six months to five years, plus a reality check after 30 minutes noted by its sportsbook reviewer. Set limits when you install the app, not after a bad night, and if push notifications pull you back in, switch them off in your phone's settings.
