How big is the NEO.bet sportsbook?
Every review of NEO.bet starts with a size claim, and the claims do not agree. The operator's own App Store screenshot reads "32 sports. 9000 daily matches. 35.000 betting options." — the full stop in 35.000 is a European thousands separator. Deadspin's review, updated 7 Sep 2026, quotes NEO.bet as offering "more than 9,000 events per month". Same number, different unit: nine thousand a day and nine thousand a month are roughly thirty times apart, and nothing NEO.bet has published settles which it meant.
The independent counts differ too: Dimers, updated 2 Oct 2026, listed 22 sports; next.io says over 25. Some of the gap is probably definition — whether "combat sports" is one entry or several — and some is the calendar. We print every figure and label which are claims and which are counts.
NEO.bet sportsbook size: claimed versus counted

| NEO.bet App Store screenshot | 32 sports, 9,000 daily matches, 35,000 betting options | Operator's claim |
| Deadspin | "More than 9,000 events per month" | Operator's claim, as quoted |
| Dimers | 22 sports | Reviewer's list |
| next.io | Over 25 sports | Reviewer's figure |
| Deadspin | 274 betting lines on one Senators vs. Maple Leafs NHL game | Counted |
| Deadspin | 53 sports markets open for live betting | Counted on the day |

The counted figures say more than the marketing. 274 lines on one Senators–Maple Leafs game is a deep menu for a single fixture — the number to weigh if the NHL is your sport. Deadspin's 53 live sports markets exceeds NEO.bet's own 32-sport claim, so it is plainly counting a narrower unit; read it as a sign of how much was in play that day, not as a sport count.
Canadian leagues, and the CFL deal
For a book built in Europe, the Canadian coverage is thorough. According to next.io it takes in the NHL, the CFL including the Grey Cup, the NBA and the Raptors, MLB and the Blue Jays, MLS and Toronto FC, and the Canadian Premier League. Dimers' list adds tennis, cricket, darts, Aussie rules, lacrosse, golf and motorsport.
The CFL link is formal. On 1 Aug 2023 the league named NEO.bet one of its Authorized Gaming Operators and an official Sportsbook Partner for Ontario, 19+, according to the CFL's own press release. That is a commercial arrangement: it tells you three-down football is a priority market for NEO.bet here, not that the league has checked its prices.
The features, one by one
This is where NEO.bet puts its effort. Most of the features below come from the operator's own app-store description, the rest from reviewers with Ontario accounts. A listed feature doesn't prove it runs smoothly on a busy night — Deadspin found the app "clunky at times" — but the list shows what the book is trying to be: one that gives you control over a bet after you have placed it.
NEO.bet sportsbook features and what they do

| Cash-out and partial cash-out | Settle a bet early at the price on offer, or sell part of it and leave the rest running | NEO.bet app listing |
| Early Payout | Listed by name; the trigger is not stated, so read the market rules on the slip | NEO.bet app listing |

Why Cashout Control is the headline
An ordinary cash-out asks you to decide in the moment, usually the worst moment. Cashout Control lets you decide in advance: set the value at which you would bank the win and the value at which you would cut the loss, and the app alerts you or sells the bet when the cash-out price reaches either. One caution: a cash-out offer is priced by the book and builds in its margin, so cashing out generally costs you something against letting a winner run. The feature buys control, not value.
The Journal and Direct Bet Support
The Journal is the quietest feature and possibly the most useful. If you need to query a settlement, or want an honest answer to how a season of betting has gone, the record is already there. Direct Bet Support opens a ticket from the slip itself, so the agent sees the right bet from the first message. Both work in the app too; our NEO.bet app page covers installation.
Three settings to check before your first bet
- Set deposit, loss and bet limits — by day, week or month — before you need them.
- Find the odds-format setting if the default is not the one you read; Deadspin found it buried in the settings.
- Switch on the extra log-in check: Dimers reports that "account login authentication can be enabled".

Bet types, including system bets
The basics are there: moneylines, spreads, parlays and same game parlays according to Dimers, singles and parlays according to next.io. The less familiar entry for North American bettors is the system bet — next.io lists 2/3, 3/4 and Heinz — which builds every combination of a given size from your selections. Each is several bets at once, and the stake is charged per bet.
The system bets next.io lists, and what is inside them
| System | Bets inside it | Hypothetical cost at C$1 a bet |
| 2/3 | 3 doubles from 3 selections; 2 winners needed for any return | C$3 |
| 3/4 | 4 trebles from 4 selections; 3 winners needed | C$4 |
| Heinz | 57 bets from 6 selections: 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds and 1 six-fold; 2 winners needed | C$57 |
Bet types offered: next.io. Combinations and costs are standard arithmetic in Canadian dollars, not NEO.bet figures — and a return is not a profit.
The trap is the Heinz. Six picks at what feels like a dollar each is really a C$57 ticket, and two short-priced winners will come nowhere near paying it back. Check the total stake on the slip before you confirm.
Live betting
Dimers reports live betting on all sports, with stats tabs beside each event and a "radar" icon marking what is in play. Its criticism is layout, not depth: the reviewer found the live view cramped, with the event loading on the right. Try it on a quiet afternoon before a playoff game.
Live betting is also where Ontario's location rule bites. NEO.bet's site configuration re-checks your location every 15 minutes, so an in-play session near the border, or with a VPN running, can end mid-game at an "Access Restricted" page; our login help page covers the fix. And there are no pictures: NEO.bet does not stream traditional sports. Strafe's review is blunt: "You won't find any live streaming here."
Esports, and the one stream
Esports have their own pages in NEO.bet's sitemap: Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Call of Duty, Rocket League, StarCraft 2 and Honor of Kings. Here, unusually, there is video — Deadspin praised an esports "Videostream" feature. So you can watch a Valorant match inside the product but not a Leafs game. No source says which events carry a stream, so check the event page first.
Are the odds any good?
No single figure could tell you; prices move by the minute. The one published opinion is Deadspin's: its September 2026 review called NEO.bet's odds "consistently strong" and competitive for European soccer, the NBA and the NHL. That is one reviewer's impression, not a measured margin — and if you mostly bet the CFL, the praise named other leagues. Before a bet that matters, compare the same market at two Ontario books. Every verdict, with dates, is on our NEO.bet reviews page.
